With over 40 years in the healing and helping professions, I offer a grounded space for restoration, regulation, and real-life renewal. My work blends trauma-informed somatic yoga, nervous system science, and soulful presence—supporting you to return to a felt sense of safety, balance, and belonging.
My approach is therapeutic and deeply personalised. Rather than asking your body to “push through,” I guide gentle practices that meet you where you are—using movement (asana), breath-work (pranayama), meditation, and, when appropriate, chanting. We work beneath the surface of the story, so your system can soften without mental overwhelm. As the nervous system settles, many people notice that old patterns loosen, clarity returns, and life feels more spacious.
My yoga path has been shaped by decades of practice, study, and lived experience across traditions. I was influenced early by B.K.S. Iyengar (India, 1983) and Shandor Remete (Adelaide, 1986), with my studies deepening through teachers including T.K.V. Desikachar and Mark Whitwell (from 1996), alongside Satyananda yoga and other therapeutic streams. Over time, my method has organically evolved—shaped not only by training but also by listening closely to the body and what it needs to heal.
Alongside yoga, I’m a spiritual counsellor and healer, with a background in nursing and social work. It’s a lifetime devoted to healing—creating spaces that are both practical and sacred, steady and deeply human.
